Federal Electric has completed many successful
projects over the course of 50+ years.
Our Projects:
U of O STEM Complex
The University of Ottawa Science - Technology - Engineering - Mathematics complex joins together multiple functions into one complex. This 300,000 square-foot 6 storey complex required extensive knowledge and management for the various electrical systems that were required to meet The University of Ottawa’s needs for their students and research teams. This project attained a LEED silver accreditation.
160 Elgin Street
Federal Electric has completed multiple tenant fit-ups within the 160 Elgin Street building over the years. Our Client trusts our dedicated workmanship to meet their expectations and needs that they have received on all projects.
Sir Frederick Banting
Federal Electric converted the existing Animal Lab within the Sir Frederick Banting building to a cutting edge W.E.T. Research Centre. This involved renovating all the electrical systems throughout the two floors this lab would occupy. Two new 600kW Diesel Generators were integrated to the existing electrical infrastructure to keep the lab running without power disruption.
Tanger Outlets - Ottawa
Federal Electric demonstrated it’s skills as an experienced Electrical Contractor throughout the construction of the 350,000 square-foot 10 building Tanger Outlets site. Coordination and scheduling for the completion dates of the site with the other trades was essential in making this project a huge success.
